Bran Flake Muffins

1 cup bran flakes
3/4 cup 1% milk
1 egg
1/4 cup margarine, melted
1 cup flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup sugar

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Combine bran flakes and milk and let sit for 5 minutes until cereal is soft. Stir in egg and margarine. Mix in flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar, stirring until combined. Fill 10 muffin cups. Bake for 30 minutes, until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Makes 10 servings.

Oatmeal Royale

1 cup water
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup raisins
1 medium apple (peeled, cored, and chopped)
1/3 cup bran flakes
2/3 cup oats
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 banana (peeled, chopped) 

Combine water, orange juice, raisins and apple in medium pan; bring to a boil. Stir in oats and bran flakes, reduce heat and cook for 6 minutes stirring every 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in cinnamon and banana pieces before serving. Makes 2 servings.
